All sales are final. By engaging Exceptional Resume Writers, clients acknowledge that fees are for personalised consultancy services and as such are non-refundable.

Your Strategy Consultation.

Your Strategy Consultation with us is a 30-60-minute discussion, held over the phone, about your career objectives and your commercial value to the market. We dive into your background strategically to garner the necessary information from you in order to position your experience as a fit for your intended direction.

Delivery Times.

You can expect us to deliver all of your documents, in their final form, 8-11 business days from the date of purchase. If you require your documents sooner, we may be able to accommodate you, however you must contact us via email or webform BEFORE you place your order to check that we have availability for a rush job. The normal delivery timeline typically follows this schedule: Days 2-4: Strategy Consultation. We will contact you within 24 hours of receiving notification of your purchase to arrange your Strategy Consultation. Availability – both ours and yours – does play a role, but we typically aim to schedule in the Strategy Consultation within 2-4 couple of days after the purchase date. Days 4 – 6: first resume draft issued in Microsoft Word format and sent to you via email. Days 6 – 8: second resume draft is issued. At this point, the documents are almost ready to be used in the job market. To ensure that they’re 100% ready, and to ensure that we’re creating a document that’s on par with your expectations, we will ask for your feedback. Days 8 – 11: once the resume amendments are complete, we will write any other documents that you may have purchased – e.g., your cover letter and LinkedIn profile.

Length Of Engagement.

While we work to an 8-11 business day delivery window, we understand that circumstances in your life may require you temporarily shift your focus elsewhere. If you do not provide input on / feedback to drafts within the timeframes outlined above, we will place your project on hold. The maximum hold period is 45 calendar days, counted from the date of purchase. During this period we will take reasonable steps to contact you via email and remind you that your input/feedback is required to produce further revisions. After the 45 day hold period has expired, we have the right to assume that you’re satisfied with your documents and to permanently close your project.

Rescheduling Your Strategy Consultation.

If you need to reschedule your Strategy Consultation, you need to give us 3 business days’ notice by email to your resume consultant. During the months of December and January, we require 7 business days’ notice. If you do not provide us with the required notice, a $250 cancellation fee will be charged and will need to be paid before any work can commence. Sickness, work, emergencies and unexpected events will still incur the scheduled cancellation fee. Unfortunately, there can be no exceptions.

Rescheduling Your Interview And Career Coaching Sessions.

We require 4 business days’ notice for rescheduling your Interview and Career Coaching Sessions. During the months of December and January, we require 7 business days’ notice. Failure to give the required notice will result in forfeiting the coaching fees. Sickness, work, emergencies and unexpected events are included under this policy. Unfortunately, there can be no exceptions.

Limitation Of Liability.

The information contained in our reports should not be used or relied upon as the sole determiner for the purposes of your employment or other career or vocational matter. You should consider your own personal situation in addition to the information provided by our services. In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data, profit earnings, or lost opportunities, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of our services whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise even if Exceptional Resume Writers has been advised of the possibility of damages. Under no circumstances shall Exceptional Resume Writers be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, incorrect email addresses, internet failures, computer equipment failures, other equipment failures, or non-performance of third parties. Where liability cannot be excluded, any liability incurred by us in relation to the use of this website or the content is limited as provided under s 68A of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth). You assume all responsibilities and obligations, both statutory and contractual as they apply in your country of residence, with respect to the use of our services and the use of any information derived either directly or indirectly from it and for any decisions or advice given as a result of the use of our services or any applications of the information provided through its use. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal matters arising will commence and conclude within the jurisdiction of the NSW Courts. By using this website you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out in these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to abide by these terms and conditions do not use this website.

Changes.

Exceptional Resume Writers reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of these Terms & Conditions in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in these Terms & Conditions will be effective when notice of such change is posted. Your continued use of the site after any changes to these Terms & Conditions are posted will be considered as acceptance of those changes.
